OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v woolwich *** 22.2.26

Could have been an off day for them last night, but Wolves belied their table position and played Woolwich off the park in the second half.

They may have nothing to lose, but they totally overran that Woolwich midfield.

Be interesting to see the starting lineup on Sunday for us, but for sure if we put in the effort that Wolves did we can get a result against them.

Exactly that. It was unbelievable that night.

There was a lot behind that atmosphere (them cheating to get the game postponed in January, we were both fighting for CL). There's a lot riding on this one too (ruining their title bid, getting us safe, Tudor's first game) so every fan needs some Dutch courage beforehand or whatever pushes your buttons so we can, to quote Gary Neville, "brutalise" those clams and watch their title bid wilt.
 
I just hope the players don't play like they do against Chelsea/West Ham at home this season and lack intensity, fight, heart
If the players put in 100% I can handle it if we don't win, obviously I do want us to make them drop points though

Nice! Congrats, man! :) I hope he’s a good omen! Imagine him dying in a nice recliner in a garden at the age of 106, smiling to himself and whispering «fudge off back to woolwich, north London is our’s» having never experienced a defeat in the NLD.
 
I just hope we don't go a man down because of some daft tackle that needn't have been made...and a WIN would be so so so so sweet. I'd be walking on air for days if not weeks.....

I think Arse took their foot off the pedal and hoped they had done enough.
As you know, they resorted to timewasting and feigning injury.

Unfortunately, against us, they won't take their foot off the pedal and will keep going.
We do need to make them nervous via our play, make them wobble, don't sit back and make it easy.
Still hard to believe how easily Eze got a hattrick from zone 14 against us. We must lock in and really stop that sort of thing, other clubs seem to manage it.


When Tommy Tank was still in charge, I strongly considered not watching this at all, as it was a guaranteed loss. Now I might watch it.
