+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

Really angry and disappointed at that. We were okay first half but poison in the second half. We created nothing but with Richy and Kolo Muani, how could you. How the latter got a full game is a mystery. They looked more like getting a second than we looked like scoring.

We’ve pulled the last lever we had to get us out of this mess. You can’t pass judgement on a single game but if you did, you’d say it made not a jot of difference.

We deserve to go down and we did nothing today to make a case otherwise. Very, very poor.
 
I think De Zerbi chose the wrong lineup. Muani and Gallagher were as dreadful as I anticipated they would be.

I know that others don’t rate Simons but right now he’s our most creative player in attacking position.

We battled and we gave an ok account but undone by a lucky deflection for Sunderland. BUT we didn’t do enough in attacking Sunderland. We didn’t score and usually that leads to a high risk of defeat.
 
There should be an investigation into our recruitment. Clearly something has gone on. None of these players are anywhere near good enough. I have just spent 100 minutes screaming at my TV. Apart from the fact that the standard of late has been so bad, I also have a genuine dislike for many of our players. Muani, Porro and Romero can just fudge right off and when we are relegated in about four weeks time they will.
 
Solanke rubbish today. As was Tel. Muani was not much better. Gallagher did nothing. Richi was less crap than the previous but still ineffective. Romero got the usual stupid yellow. Porro and Udogie tried but ultimately final ball was so poor.

We created a few half chances first half but the second half was awful. Officials played their usual blinder against us and the goal was unbelievably unlucky.

Worst of all is that Goodman got paid for his ‘expertise’ today. Abysmal.
