+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

Can we stop blaming the officials. We are unfortunate to be behind but we haven’t been good enough overall. This is on us, no one else.

VAR isn’t going to intervene on that push. It’s never a red.

It would be nice to have an even playing field, for once. That's all.

The norwegian commentator (possibly the only person having a worse game than Rob Jones) managed to say "one can argue that Udogie should have a free kick, when compared to the Diarra-incident", which is quite correct. But then followed up with "but that depends on which line the ref has set!" And then full stop. So two different standards, within the same game, and he even says so himself, and then nothing. No follow up, no nothing. It's not even ironically fun anymore, it is just blatant.

We’re getting completely robbed by this ref, it’s fudging dishonest
To be honest, we haven't. Sunderland have played on the edge of the aggression the referee tolerates. We used to do that under Poch but we are so passive these days. We are a bunch of pussies that feel sorry for ourselves and allow other teams to get under our skin. Romero is a perfect example of that. He is a fudging paper tiger. A fudging fraud. He does fudging stupid lunges in front of the referee rather than the intelligent elbows, tugs and pushes that are the dark arts that go unpunished.

Sunderland have better players, more intelligent players and more aggressive players than us. Our players are not premier league standard. None of them are. None of our players would get in Sunderland's team.
