It's also a limitations of RDZs system - if you can control the channels just inside the box and defend any cut backs that do happen, you can nullify it, because you know little threat is coming down the middle.

Is that really a system limitation or a player suitability one. If I imagine a system that emphasised playing through the middle I don't quite see how the players we have available today would make that work. There are no cute passers, no one who can play through the lines, no one who positions themselves between the lines and no one who can really beat a player.

We saw the same aversion from the centre all season, i've never felt it was coach related. We simply don't have the players to play otherwise.

Its a positional question though, Tel plays on the left, i vaguely remember on the right for us once and he was pish. If you want Tel, its likely or Richy which i'd have no problem with. Richy is poor, but I just don't really see Tel as an answer but yeah he probably can't be worse than Richy today.

We have 3 starters in Muani, Richy and Bergvall who IMHO should be subs. Shows how few options we have currently.

Bravery, they scout and strike. When we scout we wait and wait and wait for the player to prove themselves or we go for a cheaper option that isn't really a prospect. Now we've moved into a new lane buying players we already know aren't up to it (Richy) or overpay for ok prospects (Tel etc)
