+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

Gallaghers done ok.

Wouldn't touch the middle.

Forgot Solanke was on the pitch, if one of the strikers needs hauling it's him
Gallagher is a decent player, one of our better ones. When Madders and Kulu are back we have some decent attacking midfield options IMHO. Gray is already showing is he going to be a very good player.

I'd take Romero off. He's going to be sent off anyway whether he deserves it or not.

Well done Kinsky

I agree, though I think a lot of the issue is Romeros mentality.

When Brobbey clattered him by the touch line I turned to my dad and said Romero will get booked within the next 10-15 mins when he clatters Brobbey to even that up.

Sure enough…

He’s so often in the mindset of evening up the fouls and clattering people more so than just trying to help us win the game. Now it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him get sent off second half and it’s suspension time again.

On a scale from 0 to 100, where 0 is totally incompetent, and 100 is maximum compentent, why is Rob Jones even mentioned in the same sentence as competence at all?

About 5 mins from the end, when Richie was ploughing forward with the ball, why was Muani not busting a gut to get up there for the pass? Jogging along.

Think we’ve been decent. Not as good as my wildest dreams, not as bad as I feared.

Gray and Gallagher the pick for me. Richy and Kolo Muani are killing us and are a big reason why Solanke looks poor. Credit to Kinsky so far too.

The bookings are dumb and Romero needs to rein it in or get hooked. I don’t want to see another apology on social media from him tonight.

I’d get Tel on at half time. Would like to get Xavi on but not sure where he fits in this system unless we hook Bergvall which I wouldn’t do for 20-25 mins.

Decent but not great. The result will dictate how we all feel after this because the performance isn’t enough to sway me one way or the other.

As the away team we've created 3 by my count opportunities that should have resulted in a goal and taken none.

Story of the season, followed up by a self inflicted goal usually.

Yeah, if we had a FWD of the calibre of Sonny or Kane we’d be comfortably ahead at half-time but Richarlison and Solanke are never going to be elite finishers and we just have to hope that one of them hits their annual purple-patch during the next month to keep us up🤞

With the way we recruit players, not giving youth a chance makes no sense. We continually by the cheaper/6th/ opportunity option

Might as well promote from within a save the money. Gallagher is on 300k is it? Madness.
300k for Gallager must be some form of embezzlement. I refuse to believe someone thought it wise to pay that much for a player an incremental improvement on what we already had and not address the areas we are actually weak in.

Anything from distance has been an issue with him
He doesn’t seem to want to dive
Exactly. That needs to improve.
I wonder if in the Czech Lge there just weren't many shots into the bottom corners?
And I doubt he experiences them in training with us.
Otherwise, he's a solid keeper with lots of potential.

Must be some Spanish tax fiddle we've got going on.

I like the Solanke, Muani, Richarlison front 3. Showing our attacking intent. With only Tel and Simmons on the bench, I think it was the right call in this physical game.
