+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

Don't know what to expect from De Zerbi, but if history has taught us anything, we do benefit from the "new manager bounce". Even Thomas Frank came with great promise in the first few games, and that bounce might be just enough for us staying up.

What we should've done was reappoint Ange as he comes with a 10 game bounce unless your team name starts with Nottingham, which would see us safely through into 26/27.

Considering he specifically mentioned him twice in the press conference for his talent I doubt it. More likely he's not battle hardened enough to start for a trip to Sunderland in a relegation battle.

I bet if we are in the PL next season he will be a big player for DZ, he's already said we aren't going to play the way he truly wants for this run in.....

Might be better to bring him on around 60 - 70 minutes against tiring legs.

Disappointed with that lineup, if there's a player built for De Zerbi ball it's Xavi. I know De Zerbi doesn't want to complicate things but I was hoping he'd let the team off the leash a bit which requires a Xavi.
We'll see I guess. COYS!!

Also excited about today, can’t decide if that’s good or bad haha The thing is, a win today and we have 3 points on the board in RDZs first match, and 6 still to play. Confidence will be high.

A lot to gain, but we haven’t won in so long it will take a big improvement.
It's the hope that gets ya!

Not really.
Udogie in ahead of Spence.
Gray, Gallagher and Bergvall in CM instead of Palhinha and Sarr - that's a call, especially re; Palhinha.
Xavi on the bench instead of starting is also a call.
Pali hasn't started a game for donkeys. Spence was always an injury cover.

Xavi hasn't started games for fun this season, been a bone of GG contention all season

Its literally on paper the same formation and make up of what we have seen before.

Be keen to see how the coaching changes the outcome
