+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

I GENUINELY need to find some positives from today and moving forward. I may sound delusional but I’m fighting against blind faith here at the minute. I think we were unlucky with the deflection for the goal and obviously the ref was a complete flange. Another must win on Saturday and a week for RDZ to show us why we went for him. @thfcsteff you need to resurrect the positivity thread!
We looked like we were trying to pass the ball
Kinsky played very well

But still did nothing. 🤣

Thats how bad we are and how low we are scooping to try and give platitudes. He was as abject just that they were a level below even that.
I get what RDZ was trying today
He has limited options
But the ball goes wide to players who can’t cross … seems a daft tactic

We look even worse now! If you were going to replace him, it needed to be with someone better. I believe we have a better manager now but it's probably too late.
I think there has got to be a burst somewhere. It’s unprecedented and incomprehensible that any half decent side would go 20 games without a few wins. We have wall to wall internationals and some great young talent. We also have a very good manager. I can’t believe that the law of averages, where we are overdue, doesn’t throw us something. But I thought that 6 games ago and it’s gotten worse.

Given the players, manager and resources at our disposal, if we go down, it must be a frighteningly toxic culture and environment to fail so spectacularly.

And while there’s lots of factors, that’s squarely on the clowns running the club for me.

Our business is done using potential resell value as the most important metric.
You say that but then we bought for Richarlison £60m. There was no chance we thought he had resell value at that price, hell even getting back we paid for him was an inevitable impossibility. So its not all about resell, its sometimes as simple as we do our analysis and whatever the smart decision is, we do the opposite. 🤣😩

I think we are nailed on to go down tbh. We have no survival momentum to build on. Every stat is in the wrong direction. We concede too many and can't score so we can't grind out a result like Sunderland did today. I don't think RDZ can save us now.

I’ll try and help by saying maybe the positive is that it took a heavily deflected goal, we didn’t just concede our standard, stupid ‘man free at the back post’ type goal. So without the deflection we take a point, and go into the Brighton game knowing if we win we’ve suddenly put four points on the board.

I don’t know, maybe us just not getting tanked and easily beat is your positive for now.

An important thing you missed, we are not half decent.

I ain’t saying we were good
But I think people need to remember how bad we were under Frank too
Yeah his football was not great. But after today this is the 4th manager who hasn't got a tune out of this side in the PL. Ange, Frank, Tudor and RDZ (albeit he has only had 1 game). We may have been poor under Frank but clearly he's not been the only problem. RDZ is a good manager but I don't think he will save us and if he doesn't change the line up/formation we won't get another point.

People are forgetting that under Frank we had a club record low for chances created in 4 games… in one season
And he wasn’t the only problem
The issue was the club not reacting to him being so bad bad out of his depth. The cowards in charge were never gonna under line themselves and left it way way too late to sack him. That’s firmly on them
