Bro Tel didn't fail in those attacks because there was no one to pass to. Watch them again, he just kept losing the ball to Hall, he passed to no one . He shot directly at the defenders legs on a fast break. Those things had nothing to do with Marmoush's positioning. They were all individual failings of Tel.

I get it you want a striker and I don't disagree. But you're trying to make today's situation fit your narrative and it's just not the case today (it might be in future games, but not today).

I thought it looked OK, although I don’t like Gray at RB. I find it almost random that they lead this game, thought we’ve been better for the most part in the game. They are perhaps more sound than us in their central defense - I’m not quite convinced we’re good enough there yet.
