Another step on the road to belief and trust in what RDZ is trying to do.
This is a new group.
And he is right! They need to grow as a team, need to love each other, fight for each other, kick ten shades of merde out of the opposition for each other, protect each other, celebrate with each other, berate each other, and most of all, demand that every ounce of sweat be left dripping from their soaked Spurs shirts onto a pitch of which they have covered every inch.
We also need to BELIEVE.
I am not talking about blind faith or even naive optimism. I am talking about belief!
It becomes contagious quickly, starting first with the COMMITMENT to believe that good things will happen, then seeing effort as those responsible try to make that so, then enjoying the ride as this reciprocal action starts to take off, building momentum which in turn leads to glory!!!! Yes yes, a bit 'wordy' but I'm not an Ai chatbot and you can allow yourself to look down the alleyway of optimism without necessarily thinking it means instant success.
It's simple.
If you like what RDZ and the club are building, then reciprocate with faith and belief. Because without OUR belief flowing from the stands and the streets, then it will be so much harder for anything to happen.
I firmly believe that under RDZ we will never see as lack-lustre an effort as we saw last weekend, and I actually believe it could be a result which sets us on a great course quicker than we might've imagined, if only because we know EXACTLY what we have to do to become what we want to be.
I don't expect this match against the Geordies to be easy. It's never a straight-forward fixture, that's for sure. However, I believe.
I believe we are making the right steps.
I believe we are looking to play football the right way.
I believe we are getting the players back healthier -and signing ones who improve us.
And I believe we will see the benefits of all this in the coming weeks...but that has to start here. In this match.
And WE have to believe.
Let's make our home a fortress.
And let's enjoy this new era, with perhaps a little more measure (in my case anyway) but with no less optimism and certainly full of belief...

New era, new belief = new OMT rules i.e. when it's ready to go up, it goes up as long as the previous match was the day before...and welcome to the Dub Master Mr Lee Scratch Perry, who was crazy like a fix and never gave a flying fu ck what anyone thought. A maverick, a maestro, a man of N17 culture if ever I could imagine one!
