We had a few chances there tonight. Savio has to do better, Gallagher was selfish on the one that led to the corner/goal, Marmoush should score when their keeper made a great save. That’s 3 good chances in 20 minutes.
Goals will come. Not at Son/Kane level but they’ll come. Solanke and Marmoush have goals in them IMO.

The sportive I'll take is with Maddison in the 10 and Fernandes in CM where he belongs, that team started to look like it had proper attacking shape. Marmoush also looked 19 times more threatening picking up the ball between the lines. We really need Fernandes and a 10 (Maddison/Kulu/Simmons) on the pitch to try and unlock what we do have.
If we can also avoid playing Tel, Grayz Bergvall and Gallagher at the same time that will help as well.
I was quite dismissive of the signing of Tosin but he looked very competent today.

Sure I do hear that, but if we even 5 minutes of research on him they would know that A. He's a creator not a goal scorer and B. When he does score it's when he's playing from the left. Playing him from the right is maximising what he's not good at.
I said before we signed him, I wouldn't pay £75m for him to play on the right because well frankly I don't think he's particularly good there. There are a LOT of better options than him on the right imo. Kudus being the obvious one in our own ranks.

Does a goal mean he played well?
First half he was decent and tried stuff but his execution was consistently poor. Overall I couldn't give him more than a 6 and that's including scoring the goal and even that is generous.

Those who will actually push such a narrative are the online banter-mongers who are kicking us while we're the butt of the joke , or the doom-merchant Spurs fans who have become ground down. Understandable.
Feels like Baleforce wants it to happen, but I've become inured to his toxic gabbling and facile wind-up schtick. Maybe 1 in 100 times, he'll post something of worth. That may be too high an estimate though.
