***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds United, Mon May 11th, 8pm, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium***

Can't wait for this, I'm expecting Arsenal to win on Saturday and in theory if we can take 3 points we'd be pretty close to safety. Massive massive game, just have to hope Leeds have relaxed a bit knowing they're all but safe (will be mathematically safe if Arsenal win).

The problem with expecting Arsenal to win is they might not and that then f**ks with our heads. Because West Ham beat Everton with a last minute goal, that took a lot of the good out of our win v Wolves and I felt pretty low.

Going into last weekend, I thought "brick, if West Ham win and we lose, we are dead and could be officially down if we don't beat Leeds". Lo and behold, the opposite happens and the mindset shifts massively as I now think "we've a great chance of staying up".

I'm expecting West Ham to get a result on Saturday. If they don't, bonus. Either way, I'm expecting us to win on Monday and if we do that, we will still be outside the relegation zone.

I just think we need to keep our own powder dry and do what we do, I was fully invested in the Brentford game at the weekend but not again, its now on us. I am seeing loads of online polls and crap about "would you like WHU to beat Arsenal etc"..............ridiculous

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a sting in the tail of the title race yet. Where that'll be, I don't know and it may be City dropping more points. But I'm sure RDZ will be saying to the players, "focus on what you can control, if you do that, you'll be fine".

While, as fans, we can't control anything, I think we should expect West Ham to win v Woolwich. If they don't, that's a bonus. If they do, we aren't as panicked come Monday.

Yeah, I don't think Leeds are on the beach at all. They're unbeaten in six league games stretching back to 3rd March (the fixture series where Palace beat us). This will be tough coz they are a good and awkward side.
I think someone might suggest they are on the beach NOW they are safe.
Obviously during their good run they weren't 'on the beach' as they had a job to do to get themselves into a potential 'beach' position :)

It will be tough though....as Leeds automatically appear to play with a lot of energy. Tbh I hope they play with intent..we need the game to open up.

To sum your post up.......

probably best not to think about it? :)

Don't disagree, I'm thinking more as a fan but hopefully the squad are laser focused on Leeds though it must be hard not to think about the what ifs.

I don't think Leeds will be on the beach, but if we start as we did against villa I can see them losing interest.
It will be a lot of energy for little reward, so maybe not on the beach, more like that half arsed last half shift as you wonder if you've packed your flip flops and swimming cossie.

weird one. Leeds could be clear. That can work one of two ways. They relax so much they put less effort in. Or finally releived of all pressure they can play with total freedom. Eitehr way I dont care about other teams now. We need to win our games and the rest is the rest.
