***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Everton***

Hmm I slightly disagree. I think the football is quite positive until the final 3rd, and even then around the box the patterns are decent. It's just we have no actual 10 or striker. Those two issues are killing our threat.
Savinho etc have all been looking up for someone to play a quick 1-2 with and there is no one.
Solanke no shots, no attempted shots, no almost shots. Just nothing.
Ball bouncing off him, half arsed press.

Same old story. Stronger players, good performance, nobody to put the ball in the net.

Typified by the moment Savio hooked one back into the penalty spot area. Solanke and Marmoush both went towards goal and three CMs all looking at eachother 40 yards out. These are the opportunities we have to convert.

Some good periods of play, very good, positive opening 20, second 25 decent but not as good.

We just don’t shoot. Savio has looked good, Robertson has got in behind a couple of times, Marmoush with some good turns, but absolutely none of it is followed up by someone having a go. It’s always another few touches, another cut back or losing possession.

We need to start shooting.

Agreed on all of that

Gray's looked up for it as well tbf, good to see.

De Zerbi may have been the man to save us, but I don't think he's the man to bring us upwards and onwards. It may be better than (late) Frankball, but so is eating your own hand.

Everton really is flattering this defence. No idea what changes are planned but it would be nice if they involve Kudus.

I suppose the dream there would be Kudus and Savio on the same pitch at the same time? Solanke up top? Marmoush off? THEN we could sub Tonali, Fernandes and Bentancur, Madders in the 10? I'd like to see it.

I think we're really missing Porro today. NOTHING against Archie, he's been very good, but Porro is different.

Even in his seven games that saved us we was relying on long range shots from Tel and Simon's, gallagher and some scrapy goals. We need that man in the middle to thread things.

I hope Madison is actually semi match fit.

he has us looking pretty good last season, I don't know why he decided to rip that up and start again

he's got ahead of his ski's

Why do the comms keep saying "one shot on target" refering to Everton's late freekick when Robertson had an effort saved by Pickford?

I am alarmed by how both of our CB’s seem to struggle to head a football.
I'm alarmed by just about everything! We're well into September, and it still looks like these guys where just assembled 5 minutes before the game, having never met each other before! There's absolutely no cohesion at all!

but we looked solid at the back, with Danso and Spence bossing things

now we look like keystone cops every time the ball comes in
