***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton, White Hart Lane, Sat April 18th, 5.30pm***

Gutted but I still think we've got a fighters chance, saw more today to suggest these players do actually care than for much of the season.

Yup, sucker punch at the end but the best we’ve played in a while and if we can survive the drop plus (after replacing Lange) make some prudent signing this summer then the future might be Lilywhite again… after 2.5 years of Purgatory 🙏

Gutted.
Thought we'd get over the line...just.
Had our luck with MVDV hitting our post and it surprisingly not going in then Danso who had a good game just needs to whack it clear first time.
Frustrating watching us give so much time and space to the opposition, they are a good side though.
Thought the Udogie 'penalty' was one. They said he was already on his way down but that was only because he was shoved in the back.
Xavi getting cramp was a big factor in the last 10 minutes, maybe over-celebrating wasn't the best idea.
Decent performance but feel we needed the 3pts.

I saw the same brick at the back that we had under Ange, runners not tracked, man over at the far post, trying to keep the ball in our own box and playing out, I don't want to see any of that brick
Yeah plus allowing crosses into the box to be unchallenged. RDZ needs time to get us better defensively. Don't think he will do it before the end of the season.

Think De Zerbi being here helps highlight the lack of ability within the team personally.

And that remains the issue, getting the ball, where it needs to be. You can see why he must have been crying when Kudus got injured again.

Saw enough today to make me less depressed about the future if he's on charge, again dependant on recruitment.

Porro gave them acres of space to cross near the end and RDZ was immediately complaining to his assistant to go and shout at them (at least from what it looked like)

Good goal from Porro but as usual a liability in defence.

Shows the utter incompetence of our transfer committee that we sign a RWB in order to fit a back 3 but Porro has remained our first choice RB even though subsequent manager’s play a back 4… perhaps if Lange didn’t think that Davies was sufficient cover for Udogie then Spence could give Pedro a bit of competition for his starting place…

Porro is really poor defensively, no positional sense. Both goals came on his side. But in fairness, we need to defend better as a team.

Nice to hear 2 Tottenham Boys making all the noise in the Sky Sports studio for a change… just a pity that they didn’t have a deserved win to crow about…
