And if he’d taken him off we’d have had plenty saying we’re taking off our experienced forward players and not being brave enough.

Whilst I don't like the booing and wouldn't do it myself, I think it's more a boo of frustration.
Sunderland are organised but we should've won that game, with better decision making we would have been 3 up before conceding their goal.
The fans have seen it so many times over the years and far more often than not over the last year.
As for the away games, results have been good which obviously help the mood, performances have not.

So if TF played his way then the result is down to him or the players? Something has to be his fault. What are we allowed to say is his fault?

Today on the front foot, we were winning 1-0. Second half we clearly sat back deeper and pressed less, drew 1-1. Yes we should have made better decisions, but that players and manager.

Frustrating player, bags of pace and dribbling ability but seems to play within himself.
Young and hopefully will realise his potential.

Very little about today is Frank credit

- Manages to play a side that works due to injuries/availability
- Why the fudge hasn't Tel played more out left (huge part of our first half)
- Once again, having an attacking player close to Richi works (who would have guessed?)

We get 1-0 up, as comfortable as we have been in a game for a long time, Sunderland makes substitutions, was obvious our midfield was getting leggy, simple like for like sub would have won us the game, but the "Brentford" hold on for a 1-0 with 30+ minutes on the clock kicks in, reverts to his brick double pivot (and again, who would have guessed? not like we haven't seen it not work half the season), we get overrun, Sunderland gets their first set of chances and in the end, we are probably lucky with the draw.

Meanwhile, his previous club run by their set piece coach scores 4 goals and is in 7th (which apparently to some people is beyond our fudging team).

Add in the club not having a replacement for Johnson on the bench, genuinely another confirmation of the brick at the top.

I don't think you could press like we did in the first half for 90 minutes, that's an unfair expectation. Also you are going to be penned back at times, as is evident from the league table it's close between the majority of teams so naturally the opposition are going to come onto you at some point.

Credit to their manager, I think he made some changes tactically but even so we could have scored a couple more to finish the game. We created chances which is positive, we take that and try and build on it....

Oh i don't disagree with the attacking intent. What i disagree with is the idea that our problems are due to a lack of attacking intent. We had plenty of it today and yet still created not much of actual quality, mainly because our attacking players are not quality in themselves.

1st half he should get credit. There are plenty that thought our attacking options are crap and therefore we should be playing crap football. TF put attacking players in attacking positions and we looked good.

Second half he needs to take the blame, we sat deeper. He didn't make the subs quicker.

But the most important thing is that we can attack. TF needs to back us with the ball. Give us options.

But it worked, it kept us out of trouble because the opposition was more worried about us than attacking, until we decided to change into the same defensive brick, and invited them on, and guess what happened ..

I totally agree. I thought we were going to sit back for about 20 mins then start playing on front foot again. Then 20 mins became 40 mins before we started to to try again.. I expect us to do game management but when someone says we can't complain because we got attacking football... Well we did for 1 half.

At least it's watchable. If we start getting into those positions more often the decision making will improve. That's not to say that we don't need to improve the player quality. Even having Kulu in there would make a difference.

He gets credit for remembering Tel exists? for seeing that Richi needs someone alongside him?

fudge mate, I'm not saying we know better, but this is the same brick as when Ange simply refused to play Spence and then "lucked" into having to play him, you don't get credit, you need to look in the fudging mirror, what else is he missing on the training ground?
