*** OMT: Spurs vs Sunderland*** Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sunday 4th January, 3pm

Got ourselves in plenty of good & threatening positions, with numbers in our favour throughout that game but our quality on the ball let us down time after time - maybe some of that can be put down to familiarity with being in such positions but a lot of it is also down to technique or lack there of, of the players.

Booing again. Embarrassing and entitled. Sunderland have taken points off better teams than us this season.

Don't the idiots realise they might be a part of the reason we are so good away and yet so poor at home?
This is what makes it really hard for a manager once the majority of fans aren't happy. Anything other than 3 points and they will behave like this, it's very hard to turn the tide.

It's a shame, as we was never going to maintain that football all game and we had the chances to win so the reaction based on this game alone was completely uncalled for.....

Er yeah, because the team played better? What's your point, was playing the more familiar turgid football at home to a decent Sunderland team going to win us the game or something? I think not....

My point is that fans were screaming for more attacking football, they got it. Cant be unhappy with the result as all they want is the team to have more of a go.

The result today is down to the lack of ability of the players and that is down to the Board, not TF.

What we did so well was follow up and win second balls. Our forwards are (let’s say developing) so we often get tackled attacking. But today we picked up those tackles and used the second ball.

Just need to give Frank more players. We seem to eat them up at the moment!

I don’t have an issue with booing the result, just get behind the team during the game. We’ve been rubbish at home for more than a year. Today was another manifestation of that.

What changed would you have gone for with the bench available?

(I’m not saying you’re wrong I’m just genuinely curious).

You're 1-0 up and you have a striker who cannot stop the ball coming straight back at you. It's happening week after week. The first sub I would have made was getting Scarlett on and using his physicality and work-rate to offer us something differently. Dane would have got himself into positions where the only way the defender gets the ball is to go through him. Richi just gets eased off constantly.

I probably would have got VDV to LB and Danso into centre half as well. No probs with Palhinha to be fair. Bergval wasn't nowhere near match fit and just jogged around. He shouldn't have come on.

The biggest problem was Richi though. That needed dealing with by the manager.

I wasn’t at the game but it felt like we took our foot off the gas and Sunderland’s goal was as hardly out of nothing. I can’t remember the last time we played well for 60 minutes at home let alone 90.

Fair enough subs, as I say not saying you’re wrong, just curious.

I agree on Dane. I don’t know if he’s going to make it here long term, but I’ve seen enough to suggest he should get more minutes, especially whilst Solanke is out. If we don’t get him on the pitch with better players then we’ll never know if he can be of use or not. I really want to see him getting more regular chances and minutes, particularly at the end of games when as you say, Richy has become ineffective.

The forward line that started cost the club £170 million, for the quality they show we have overpaid massively.
