Omar Marmoush

This guy is the Son replacement for me. Can be quality off the LW or through the centre but not really a 9. Has a great shot on him, bagged loads of goals at Frankfurt and I think will do well when he settles in.
100%
Closest I’ve seen to son out there
Don’t think he is as two footed but then who is.. beyond that though he has the right tools
Be had Ekitike there to play off (I believe) and I think would thrive playing off Solanke (or a better CF)

Really like the look of him but I don't think he should be our LW. He spent most of the game too central, where he absolutely did contribute and was dangerous but also left Robertson completely isolated. Think he'll naturally settle down to be a second striker/AM for us. If we can just get Solanke up and running, it could be a really good combination. My favoured line up at the moment would be:

Solanke
Savio* Marmoush Kudus
Tonali Fendandes

I’d be having Bentacur in the midfield at the moment
But fully agree with your logic

Yah he is no LWF, he wants to be central. Tbh I think if we'd had better results so far or some goals he would still be starting as the CF because clearly that's that's the role we've bought him for. We are just in that muddy area where RDZ is going to try a multitude of things until something works.

The Solanke/Marmoush idea looks good on paper but it relies on Solanke not being gash and his using his strength and link up ability to play for Marmoush who isn't much of creator really. He plays like a SS when off the striker not a 10. I don't think he solves out link to attack problem, it's much more reliant on Solanke being a good foil which he seems incapable of.

Solanke is all we have as an out and out striker though, so it going to have to work
