We're away at the best team in the land. Hmmm. How many games have they lost at home. Totaly unrealistic expectations from Spurs fans. Frank tried soemthing, it didn't work. At least he's playing percentages, and making pragmatic decision. It didn't work, but it could have. We needed to hang in longer, and then play as the game opened up.

I personally didn't expect more, but clearly most did. Which makes me think Spurs fans expectations are offkilter. They are are much better side than us, playing at home. What was your expectation?


The football was even worse the end of last season. Forced to play defensive to get any results, shipping goals, losing almost everything. Now we are rebuilding. Yet you expect us to play like golden age Barcelona! Let Frank do his work, and develop the side. Whilst he does, we will continue to develop a defensive foundation.

Some of today is on Frank but the players WTF? Unable to do the basics, Palinha aside. 3 defenders around the Arsenal player and he still gets the ball across to eze to score. Richarlison (goal aside) has won nothing in the air and even less on the ground. Spence Udogie in fact the entire back line should hold their heads in shame. As for Kudus you get the ball and just run in circles. Xavi see Kudus. Today has been disgusting.

I think the problems are deeper than a manager though and the biggest issue is that when Woolwich were in a period of strength they kicked on and when we had a period under Poch we didn’t.

However that’s a debate for another day, today is on Frank.

That's never never the reason for three at the back - you just play a proper DM like Palinha in a midfield 3. Even the pre-match warm up was practicing as a back 5.

I disagree. He was neither strong nor did he at any time try to force something different the defender. Solanke would have given Saliba more to think about, it was too easy for him all game.

I just don’t think this is true.

We don’t have players that are on Arsenal’s level right now. But we for sure have better players than to turn up and perform like that. Was our only shot on target one from the half way line? To say an attacking performance that bad is down to the quality of the players, is crazy. The players are not that bad. They are almost all top internationals.

I feel bad for Frank in that I don’t think he wanted us to be as defensive. But clearly there is a disconnect. Either the players aren’t carrying out what he wants yet, or he is not capable of getting this group to do what he needs yet. Or maybe his ideal culture is just too different for the make up of this squad and the DNA of the club?

We were extremely bad, and the concern most people offer is that we don’t have any ideas in possession. And frankly I think making out our players are so bad that it simply isn’t possible for them to have any ideas in possession, is an excuse.

Ah yes, I remember me saying I expect us to play like golden age Barcelona Nope, I expect us to be capable of having some attacking patterns of play - not just give it to Kudus, hope he does something and if that doesn't work hope a long throw comes off.

Only a couple of nutters on here expected us to win today, what happened was totally expected - all today does is highlight the problems. They are a better side but we didn't lay a glove on them because of the way we setup and the things Frank chooses to focus on. There are teams with inferior players to us who play better football even though I am very much of the opinion the squad needs plenty of surgery.

Frank is constantly too negative, you're talking as if he lets the shackles off in other games. We have played hardly any decent attacking football all season....
