No digital over digital switchover

So the government has decided to change my signal even though the digital services were working just dandy in this area before. Since the switch, about a month ago now, I've received no digital signal whatsoever on any of the tvs. All are different makes. I've tried automatic retuning, factory reset, manual retuning (on one tv, which I couldn't actually do), retuning before and after taking out the aerial connection, calling the digital tv switchover service. All have led to failure.

Now there is a real chance I'll have to pay someone fifty quid or more to do something which I'm sure is actually going to be simple. So this has now become about the principle. GG has rarely failed me before. Suggestions as to what I do before I have to hand over the money?

What area are you in/ transmitter are you feeding from?

No problem, glad it was of help mate :D

Regards to this problem. I'd start out by figuring out which transmitter I'm on (I can pick up either Hemel or Crystal Palace) and then work out a specific frequency that definitely has a channel, then manual scan that frequency. If you don't get anything you know you have a problem. Might need to reposition the aerial?

Take a look at this website, if you go to the map and actually click on a transmitter, it will throw up a graphic of the area it covers. Go from there.
