Nicolas Jackson

Could we not sit on our wallets and then go bigger in the next transfer window?
Of course, though January isn't really a window for signing top players, so I think it would have to be next summer instead.

I suppose the question is whether we think we can middle through with an injured Solanke and an injury prone Richarlison?

Not sure why you're trying to claim he is "90% Kane"? I posted some stats that show his open play goals for Bayern last season was only 10% less than Harry Kane's, that is just one aspect (though goals are obviously an important metric for centre forwards)

Do I think Jackson would be 'value' at £60 odd million? Not really no.
Do I think he would do a better job in De Zerbi's system than the strikers we have at the club at the moment? Yes, I think he would.
What do I think he is worth in an even market? Probably about £45 to 50 million. He has lots of good attributes and posts good goal and assist per 90 numbers.

Can I see anyone else out there that we would have a chance of signing for similar or less money than Jackson would cost that I think would have a good chance of better goal and assist per 90 numbers than Jackson? I'm not sure I can to be honest.

Who would you bring in instead?
The Swansea lad, but I dont watch much other football, so it's a small net.

I think if we start as we are now, we’ll be having a co versatile within a few months about how we’re playing better, creating more but not putting the chances away.

I also think we will find ourselves with some random people playing up top giving that Richy always misses some time through injury and we now seem to have cursed Solanke as well. Our attack is absolutely the worst and weakest part of the team without question.

At least we have Lankshear 😎

If he gets Gapko, he would likely cycle one of him or Tel as a CF in a pinch. I want a great 9, I think it is imperative we give the manager his priority which appears to be one or two wide forwards.

Said for a while our best shot at an elite #9 is Tel developing in to one.

Feel like that priority may have changed based on Solanke, Maddison & Kudus fitness issues.

Don't see him as a CF, think he's better suited as LWF.

For balance he's barely played there for us, one of the very few times he started CF was away to Leeds last season and scored a great goal - albeit deflected but was a good strike regardless.....
