Nicolas Jackson

Please for the love of GHod no.

Headless chicken

Disagree. He's a very capable CF. His movement and link-up play are good. He just lacks composure with his finishing. But he's not a headless chicken.

He'd be frustrating, but he'd also score double what Richy and Solanke would in the same setup.

If we don't get Osimhen, Jackson is possibly the best option out there for us.

Data doesn't say that, data says he's the worst finisher of the three. Jackson's best season in PL (under Poch when Chelsea finished 6th) is one more goal than Richi has gotten to in his season's fully fit, in that same season (Jacson's best), Richi scored 3 less in 7 less games.

You might argue he could score more, or bring other things, but nothing suggests it would be a substantial number of additional goals

just no evidence to support that assertation.

Jackson as I understand is a player all the data nerds love. But he’s a player that won’t work at Spurs. For all the good he does he misses way too many sitters and the crowd would get on his back far too quickly.

Maresca didn’t want him.
Kompany didn’t want him.
Alonso doesn’t want him.

I think they are a good judge.
People (outside of football) pay far too much attention to chances missed and far too little to how good players are at getting into, goal scoring positions. Jackson works hard, links play and scores at a decent rate.

Chelsea had a look and said no thanks. Bayern had a look and said no thanks. But somehow he'll be the saviour of Tottenham Infirmary and miraculously start scoring?

Ally Gold knows as much about spurs as my dead gran

He's club mouthpiece, when the club wants to say something without going official, it's him.

So he rarely knows anything that's not public, but when they want the message out, they tell him. I'd say it's pretty certain this is dead if they got it to him that quickly

In the middle of the PR drive that they are on they were probably a bit embarrassed by it?
