Mykhailo Mudryk

How? they were players who were very good goal scorers at the same level, if anything, its an ideal comparison.

I guess we might even get to find out quite quickly with Lanks.

Lanks as a 21 year old is smashing the goals in at the top of the Championship for Boro. I they get promoted then he will be tested as a 22 year old at the bottom of the PL. Whether with Boro or another PL team we might get to see Lanks at the PL level quite a lot.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying he won't make it, I'm just saying that its too early to be talking about him in the prem smashing them in for us. Different quality of defending for sure.

Let’s not forget this man. He is due back in a few weeks so he’ll have little time to make any impact before the window opens - which i hope means he bangs a few in for us around Christmas.
In a few weeks we will have Savi back, so all Mudryk will succeed in doing is steal minutes from LWB.

He was a loan signing we did not need.

Beckford and Nugent also smashed goals in for fun in the championship not exactly top class Prem players were they?

Solanke notched up 30 goals for Bournemouth when they got promoted whilst Savio scored as many goals against Charlton as he’s managed in his past 36 PL games, so I’m also not yet convinced that Will is the answer to our issues up front… hopefully he’ll get the chance next season to prove that he can make the step up to the top flight though.

Presumably all strikers would score about a quarter of the goals in the Prem, that they could in a dominant Championship side.

If Boro are steamrolling their way to the title and Lankshear gets 40 goals, he should stay there into the Prem and see how he gets on in the big league. Obviously it will be very tough going for a promoted side, so he might only get single figures.

Then we can get a better look at how he is performing and whether he can make the leap, and then grab him back if we want to. I'm sure he would love to play for us again at that point. I presume he has family and friends around the Spurs area.

Imagine if Liverpool/United/Chelsea had backed themselves and bought Kane from us for an average fee in 2014

Don’t think that stacks up
Scoring a goal a game in the championship is a hell of achievement
Doing it in the prem is almost unheard of and no one normally gets double digits for any team that’s got promoted if you look at it
It’s because the gap between the divisions is so high

Sorry my mistake, not Beckford, i meant Rhodes. Beckford was more league 1.
Who did these players play for in the prem?
Thats the key
To score goals you need chances
Most teams come up and create very little
Also worth looking at the historical top scorers in the chnsoionshop
Some surprising names
Ones who have come up and done well have day stayed in the prem and generally come via teams like Brentford
One of the better championship strikers in recent years now plays for Arsenal as a CF
