Morgan Gibbs-White

Disproves made up brick, with his own made up brick.
Yup…. Of course I made it up. I have no idea what Forest, City, MGW and Spurs have done. The difference is I haven’t made up a story and claimed to be ‘ITK’ like the fella who posted that other made up story. I have literally said what I think is more likely to have happened in my OPINION

Seems a nice lad.
He does. And maybe it was just as simple as him putting his family first in a very stressful situation, which I certainly don't judge him for.

Although that also indicates he could've been with us now, if it wasn't for Marinakis throwing a tantrum and messing up a seemingly straightforward transfer.

Nah, it's definitely that the chairman threatened to do unspeakable things to him rather than the simple fact he just didn't want to go out of his way to join us ....

Looks like implosion at Forest with you know who likely to sack Nuno. Doesn't seem like a good place to be. MGW might regret signing on. No doubt he's taking home more from the whole debacle, so end of the day he's doing fine. But not a club you want to be when the owner is some kind of mafia puppet master.

The Emirates Marketing Project PSR bit - clear load of gonads. How on earth could this ‘ITK’ know that?
The MGW leaking it to stop a move to City bit - clear load of gonads. MGW can just refuse a move to Emirates Marketing Project (though I doubt he actually would’ve refused a move to them).
I absolutely believe that there was a confidential release clause. However it would be impossible for anyone to prove that had been divulged. I think far more likely is that the transfer didn’t happen because we had made an illegal approach. We directly spoke to the player without the permission of Forest. It was telling that we went very quiet after Forest threatened to report us to the PL for this. I believe that fearing a fine and transfer ban, we then backed off and allowed Forest to negotiate a new contract with the player.
I suspect MGWs new contract offer paid him more than we were offering, hence him signing that new contract pretty quickly.
'we made an illegal approach' - you've no proof this happened, but your go to is anti-Levy. The fact that nothings been said since suggests we didn't.

'It was telling that we went very quiet after Forest threatened to report us to the PL for this.' As Bedford said, we were quiet before, we never discuss transfers in public, its not telling at all, but your go to is anti-Levy.
'I believe that fearing a fine and transfer ban, we then backed off' you've no proof this happened.
'I suspect MGWs new contract offer paid him more than we were offering' you've got no proof this is true.
MGW has since come out and said it happened for none of the bollox you made up.

Just looking at it from a Spurs angle, I would probably just walk away from the deal. Here’s a guy who’s partner is in distress, and us elongating the legal fight with Marinakis, who was not backing down wouldn’t have sat well with me.

But it seem like he wanted to come, hence the CL reference and the comment on being professional and turning up to training. I also noticed a distinct lack of ‘Thank you Marinakis’ who he had a smiling photo opp with not long ago. Anyway who knows what really happened.
