Hi, newbie here... so be gentle please
Any reason why there is no specific thread on what seems to be a highly credible link?
Must say I have always seen this guy as a diamond in the rough and his play characteristics, especially his dribbling, should complement our squad ans I don't think we have a player like him (maybe Mikey in a couple of years time)

So when we get guzumped, we are not too emotionally invested.

Interesting point re. Moore. And it does highlight our lack of dribbling. Kulu probably closest to Kudus, but a very different player.

Covered it in the general transfer thread, but of the linked players who fit a similar profile (Eze, Simons, Samanyo) I think Kudus is the most likely...simply because he probably isn't top of other clubs list, and his wages are likely affordable. Plus he fits what we need. Eze doesn't really if Son sticks around and plays off the left.

I think, and hope, we get this done. Quite a lot of reservations from Spurs fans judging by the initial comments about Kudus when we discussed the signing initially in the transfers thread!

Odobert can drible.

That said, stories in recent days are painting Kudus in a most favourable light when it comes to how he presents in the eyes of Spurs fans i.e. being willing to turn down Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Indeed, I am one who didn't/doesn't particularly want him considering his actual output and the price being touted. A West Ham fan summarised him well for me when saying he had Champions League skills but a Sunday League football brain - which would explain why his actual figures are pretty average.

However, on the positive side - We have identified an area that definitely needs strengthening, and Kudus does have the ability to beat a man and is dynamic. So if Frank really believes he can coach him to make better decision making and as a result more productive then great. Either way, I don't doubt he will be exciting to watch.....

If Kudus was perfect we wouldn’t be able to buy him or afford him. The tantalising hope is he has the ingredients and can start to fire on all cylinders and be the player he was in his first season at wham. A bit of a diamond in the ruff potentially.

There’s no doubt he has technical skill and physical attributes, plus fight! As we saw when he got sent off against us 😂

I think if he signs we need to recruit Lucas Moura to act as mediator as he did so well with Romero/Richi :D ....

The last paragraph is the key
He has everything we need and if we were signing him from another club the excitement would be more
We do of course have to get it over the line

Meanwhile, over in East London....

Weird, we used to pick up a lot of their players. What happened?

Also weird that Arsenal and Goons do business yet we dont. Is it a more, we dont want to do business with them or they dont want to do business with us?
