I think it does hurt Dier personally.... Though I also disagree with GB that Skriniar is particularly immobile. In saying that I don't think he is the answer to our defence, either in a 3 man one or a 2 man one.
I'd rather see us sign either Ndicka or DeVrij. Or if we could somehow take advantage of the s(h)ituation at Juventus made an audacious move for De Liigt.

I think we're more in Rodon or Fazio territory. Skriniar is a great player in Serie A, but not for this league.
