I think we would easily get 60 mill. We paid 50 for Kudus and Simmons. 60 for Solanke and Richy. I know we were mugged but that shows the market currently. He is still young and i think a lot of elite clubs will want him.
I hope you are right. Even if we scrape staying up he needs to go for everyone's sake, along with Romero.

All the best,
Michael.

Agree. One of the big boys will pay good money for him. You stick him in a top team who dominates possession and he'll look great. Not much actual defending to do, just mopping up counter attacks with his speed and a few glory runs going forward. He'll be loved.

Would much rather he stays than Romero. His pace is a real asset, his defending isn't great currently but young enough to improve and with De Zerbi as coach the football will be very much suited to him....

I'm not sure who I prefer stays but I do think something needs to change with their partnership because for me despite the shiney veneer it doesn't actually work no matter who the coach is.

Thought the interview he did this season where he spoke of his admiration for Ange and his style of play was telling, especially in light of him ignoring TF as he walked off at the Chelsea game. He’s a good (dare say great) defender on the halfway line, that style plays to his strengths as a front foot defender

Agree

Romero isn't disciplined enough to be that solid base that VDV needs to learn of and refine his game. And VDV isn't a natural good enough defender like Danso who can accomodate for a defensive partner that is liable to disappear up the pitch, or break the line to press the ball.

They would probably be better as a 3 with Danso inbetween them, but as a two they aren't a good pair.

This time last year I was hearing a lot of "Ange's results are poor because Romero and VdV haven't played together enough". Our record with them under Ange was good if not as good as some people seemed to believe.

Personally, I think they could be a very effective partnership under RdZ. Would love both to stay but reckon Romero will be off in the summer.
