Be wary of any player that always needs "exactly the right set up/partner" - that's not how teams work.
He's a luxury CB - that isn't a compliment.

Well that's why I don't believe he's a top player, he isn't able to perform despite his circumstances in say the way Ledley always showed he was.

His form has fallen off a cliff. Doesnt have the mentality or the fight for it. Hopefully some mugs will offer 60 mill plus for him end of season.

Hasn’t he given an interview recently in which he said he’s struggling mentally with our situation? Looks to be true.

As a human being, I hope that he’s alright.

From a football standpoint, though, I don’t think we are getting anywhere early £60 million for him. It’s hard for us to believe, but other clubs do their due diligence; and they aren’t going to pay that amount for someone who has said they can’t really cope with a relegation battle. That’s sad in many ways - but it’s true of how professional sport operates at an elite level.
