I think the comments on here about Tel's performance are really harsh. He wasn't anyway the reason we lost the game today, and he was a threat all game until he had to come off due to an injury.
It didn't come off for him today, but most of our chances were created by him being involved in the game.
Tel's improved alot during these last few games, and looks committed to giving it he's all. Not sure why he's being picked out more than others today.

Equally what run of games has given people this false sense of faith in a player who, IMO, not is fault, is now lauded or protected by fans?

Its not his fault that he is not good enough, but he isn't..........he isn't at fault for the decline but questioning why we signed him isn't treason

By no means is he the reason we lost. It's just the stark realisation that he was arguably our best player today. That's how low we have fallen, that's how none existent our standards actually are,
that we are praising busy work, not quality, not technique but fudging busy work.

I'll never accept mediocrity, us not only doing so but also making copious excuses for mediocrity is why we are where we are today.

Based purely on the highlights, he seemed ok today? Looked like he was at least trying make things happen?

Thought he was alright. Definitely lost something when he came off with an injury. That shot was so close to being a thing of beauty and gave their full back a tough time particularly in the first half.. Similar to his recent performances, not quite getting the end product right, but otherwise rather good.

He's not great, but he's also just 20 (soon 21). Several of the wingers people have wanted us to sign have not been at his level at 20/21 imo.

Still rate him for the future and for right now he's one of our better available options. I appreciate that doesn't say much. But he's also a young player doing quite well in very difficult circumstances. Think he deserves some praise and patience.
