Who are you thinking of? I think we usually don't buy the sort of players who have shown high capability before they join. Typically we've bought potential and obviously potential can be quite different to outcome.

You think his passes forward have been poor? Fair enough, I'd disagree in the sense that I've seen him make those passes. I however would never really expect the CB to consistently make critical passes.

Hopefully if he gets more games he can reach the level he was. Pretty sure he cant be too chuffed sitting on a bench for a team that is gonna have like 32 games to play.

Wasn't that one of the highlighted benefits of his game? I seem to remember everyone creaming themselves at his progressive pass stats
 
I thought he played alright midweek? On the ball he’s very comfortable, perhaps too comfortable for some. In games where we will expect to dominate the ball he’ll be more effective than when we’re pinned back

His forward passing was very good, definitely in the mould of Van Hecke....

What I meant was, yes he can and does play those passes but philosophically I would never want my CB to be the main source of passing quality. Like when we had Toby and his world class switch pass, it was a great addition to the passing and creativity that Eriksen provided.

So for me so far Senesi has done exactly what was expected in terms of passing range and quality. He's played the passes that match his record imo.

I think we've tried to improve our use of the ball throughout the team. It was neccesary imo. The only thing I think we missed out on was getting a 2nd striker and depending on if we insist on playing Savio on the right a LWF.
