He’s a generational talent and will be our best defender from the day he gets back.
 
I dunno ...he has a very good thing going in Germany and I believe he deserves to play every game . If he played for a top German club for a year, his training would be complete.

The route RDZ took for those seven games was very very specific to the GHod awful situation we were in.

RDZs mind will be opening up to all possibilities as we go thru pre season.
 
One barrier to squad shaping and player development next season is the lack of games.

Although a benefit of that might be the physical recovery of the squad (especially with many players suffering a WC summer as well)

I get the feeling with RDZ that is something is working, he's not the type of manager to change things for the sake of it.
 
Vuskovic is ready to fight for a first 11 place. The way Romero has been playing, he should fear for his place if the kid comes and he stays. Interesting to see where RDZ thinks Senesi's place in the CB order is. Even VDV might have to play LB at times, with the strong CBs we have at the club.

I think VDV and Senesi might struggle as a pairing, as both are weak in the air. Vuskovic would probably work best with VDV, as neither Senesi or Vuskovic are overly quick.

No, they loaned him out last season. They didn’t give the squad sufficient quality when required. I’m arguing the opposite. I’m saying that here is a top quality centre back, now we should keep him and use him as he’s ready.

i don't think hamburger sv played in the any of the uefa european competitions - and hence could benefit from playing twice a week and overseas
