Kyle Walker

Graham Roberts has always been the biggest WUM out there - he speaks absolute gonads. Spouting stuff he reads on forums as insider info.

It also takes 90 minutes to get from Manchester to Sheffield, compared to 126 London to Sheffield (bring on Northern powerhouse infrastructure projects).

And the reason Walker plays only once a week is because his hip is fudged - he'd play far less at a club with less specialist medical support
So it's just coincidence he's left out of squad altogether when we haven't had a game for 9 days and is our last ever home game at WHL?

Last game at WHL and no major time on the pitch.
He's gone.

Also, Poch wouldnt have had him on the bench had he been certain to leave. We've seen how ruthless he is with other players. Need to get to the end of the season and then Poch/Walker have a heart to heart over the future

Walker has had a long season with the EPL, CL and England duty perhaps Poch felt a little R&R would do him good and also allow Poch to see whether Tripper was good enough for the EPL.

According to Graham Roberts, Walker is gone. His missus wants to move back north and he's had a row with Poch over playing two games a week.
Probably because the house prices are cheaper? Maybe they can afford one up North without having to resort to "Help to Buy."

Today showed why we should do whatever we can to keep Walker. Trippier, who I rate as a good player, really struggled with Martial. When Walker came on, Martial disappeared.

I have my doubts, but I still hope we won't lose him.

As I've said many times in this debate, Trippier isnt top 4 or 5 in the PL in his position so we'd be looking to upgrade him very shortly. Walker is one of the best in his position

Trippier on the other hand, is one of hte best back-up RBs, if not the best

I'd say Trippier is arguably the best back up RB in the league. But he's not an accomplished defender to say the least, nor is he is physically threatening as Walker who is also a much more ferocious athlete. I'd be worried if Poch thinks Trippier is good enough to be our 1st choice RB for next season.

You do not need the the best four players in every position to finish in a Champions League place and what we do not know is whether Trips could go up a level with consistent starts. I don't want to see Walker leave but I don't agree with your criticism of Trips.

I belive he will stay. There I've said it. Just a hunch. He's been a big part of the Poch revolution and Poch himself has said during one of his press conference that he was very "calm" about the situation. We are entering a very exciting phase of our club's history and he will want to be part of it. Prepared to be shot down if I am wrong.
