Kyle Walker

Kind of true I think. Hopefully we can be adaptable in our strategy here. If the plan was to 'establish us as top 4 contenders' in 3 ears under Poch, we've more than crushed that aim. So we need to pay the players what they are worth, because justifiably many of them can claim to be among the discussions for best in the world in their positions. There's no justifiable reason to pay them what we planned to pay them. Buying into the project, excitement about a stadium etc just won't cut it.

Not saying we put the club's future in jeopardy, but there must have been a plan to adjust when we reach top 4 contender ship or title contender ship. If we have to bring that forward, and use the additional bonus money plus some of what would have been used on a transfer budget perhaps for the purposes of keeping a potentially once in a lifetime squad together, we probably should.

Agreed. We need to really seize the day and not let the opportunity slip. Pay our key players top wack with massive incentives to achieve CL again and stay for at least two seasons in the new stadium. By that time we would surely know if we are truly title and cup winners. In the meantime, sell off all our surplus players ( Sissoko, Wimmer, possibly Walker, if he agitates for a move, and maybe Lamela if the rumours are true) and only recruit at most two or three players in key positions.

We simply mustn't regress from here. Onwards and upwards.

Well Walker off to City seems to be the worst kept secret in football

We need to knock them for six with the transfer fee IMO and make it as hard as hell for them

And one more thing, the attitude of kyle in the week, and game, more than your poor perfomance, its one of the keys to explain the horrible friday game, its to obvious to me that behevoir really efect negative in the chemistry of the team and y have to chose betwen he or poch, i no doubt one millón Times poch, sorry for My poor english.

Do not worry about it mate, you written English is probably a lot better then most on here's written Spanish.

We haven't been this good for 30 years. We have players who are the best in their position in the league and we have Kane and Alli who are the two of the finest young players in world football who could get in to most teams in world football. I agree we have done an admirable job keeping wages low but I think we're being naive if we think we can continue that strategy forever given much progress the club has shown on the pitch overtaking the likes of Emirates Marketing Project and United on the pitch. I don't think we have to match what the top clubs pay but I don't believe we can continue paying a third of what those clubs pay their top players.

Two words.

Leeds. United.

im glad its City. He wont improve them defensively, going forward he is not going to make them more offensive. After all, they are coached by Guardiola. They will leak goals with or without Walker and they will score goals with or without Walker.

We will get at least 50 mill. Imagine that, 50 mill pounds for a right back who has improved tremendously but its not as if we dont have a decent back up already (Trippier) in place and also a highly rated kid (KWP) already training with the first team.

out of all our jewels id say Walker is the one i wouldnt mind selling, especially if the money on offer is as staggering as is being quoted. I would use that 50 mill to upgrade the contracts of the likes of Dele, Toby, Eriksen and Kane.

Maybe why Walker isn't entirely out the door. Maybe Poch has given it a 'I know you're frustrated because justifiably you can claim to be one of the best in the country, but give us until the summer and we'll be making changes'

For me it has to be John stones money as a minimum. Not the £35m quoted in some trash papers. I'd actually be disgusted if we sold him that cheap based on City's expenditure on stones, ottamendi, mangala etc...

This all day long. Stones is a complete and utter clown defensively compared to Walker, and Walker isn't that great defensively himself. £60m minimum it should be.

Also, I think that Walker has dropped fitness wise. He has a lost a bit of pace and doesn't seem as sharp to me. I think that groin injury has impacted on him long term.

Have to say I have noticed him losing some of his pace in the odd game, wouldn't necessarily say it's an every game occurrence though.

As long as we get over 35m for him and Sancho as well I will be happy. Maybe he is winding down because two years in a Poch team is like 5 years in another team.

Players usually only play for so long before they lose it, so if they start young like Rooney or play in a high pressing team like Kane they are as good as dead by 30.

Or maybe he is just tired? He is one of the few that went to the Euro's played and hasnt been out injured.
