Kyle Walker

I think his body was already starting to break down under the intensity of Poch's system. A more comfortable role at City was probably what he needed. And he's obviously 2 years older now too
 
I wouldn't even think about it. Brain farts, yes, but his speed down that right flank is just what we need.
 
Why are we talking about Walker leaving Man C and coming back to Spurs 2 years after he left, started virtually every game when fit and won 2 league titles? o_O

Not at all saying that we will, our should sign him. But that's more down to cost (transfer fee and wages), age and some negative history with Pochettino and maybe fitness levels/injury problems. But I can't think of many better quality right backs around that we could sign if he somehow became an option.
 
The lad at Barca linked is a better player.

Wan Bissaka out performed him just this season.

The lad Aarons at norwich has the potential to be a better player than Walker ever was.

Walkers good, not great, and he certainly isnt what we need now.
 
I see Dani Alves wants to play in the Premier League. 36 years old but an amazing athlete and a serial winner. I'd take him.

Would also settle for Wan Bissaka in and Tripp’s/Aurier out though!
 
Walker has won his fair share of major trophies since leaving so i would imagine in turn he has transformed his mentality to that of a winner - so signing him could be invaluable to future success

And I see that Alves has just been made captain of his national team, dunno if he’s any better at influencing referees than Kane or Lloris though.

I can really see the sales pitch - "Sure it could be said that your chance of winning trophies would diminish greatly, but on the other hand, it would mean a massive drop in wages" ".........?"

It may be that the artist formally known as Chich meant to post this in the vice den and hadn't finished explaining that it was a question of whether we'd partake alongside Walker in some sort of orgy involving a dessert or sweet sauce made with milk and eggs, or milk and a proprietary powder. It's really a question of how many supermodels it would take to negate Walker's involvement as he isn't the prettiest bloke, could come to some sort of paper bag over head arrangement though of course.
