Japhet Tanganga

It was VERY noticeable last night that Bissouma didn't want the ball, he was jogging and hiding.
I could understand if he was injured or marked, but he was completely unmarked and jogging behind the ref to try to avoid being passed to.
He didn't demand the ball, he didn't show for the ball, he was hiding.

Similarly Sanchez just got rid as soon as possible with a 20 yard square pass, as did Lenglet, as did Sess, back to Lenglet, to Bissouma, to Sanchez, all of them just wanting to pass on the hot potato, just getting rid.

Then it came to Tanganga and he fired in a lovely pass, which Perisic flicked and Son scored. Very nice Japhet.

He also fired in a couple of forward passes to people who didn't want it/weren't yet in position and they were cut out. He did alright though. I still think he needs to go and play somewhere, or anywhere! He's almost 24 now and hasn't even had 1 season of regular football!

I didn’t notice that from Bissouma
I thought he had a decent game
He was key in the third goal too
Is perfect sarr gets the minutes but he was fine yesterday

If his agent wasn't always pretending he could get him a move to AC Milan or Inter etc. he could have had 2 or 3 seasons in the Championship under his belt and, who knows maybe made it back to the PL.

Nice to see him finally playing though

TBH though Milan had Tomori and Loftus-Cheek in their team last night, who had similar trajectories to Tanganga, so it's not that far fetched. Chris Smalling was always awful, but has also made a career for himself at Roma.

Tomori had loans at Brighton, Hull, Derby and a few games for Chelsea before he left for Milan. Tanganga is miles behind in games under his belt.

And TBF ability, Loftus Cheek is much better also.

Nothing against the lad but he is not to either of their standards IMO but good luck to him wherever he pitches up
