I think it will be worth a try - he's got the industry and his crossing is a bit of an unknown. But to me this looks an interesting, pretty balanced, line-up

Attacking sure, he could do a job there.

But defensively? Again, fairly specific position, when to press up, when to drop back, defending one vs one in deeper areas, marking, tracking runners.

A lot of relatively new this for him, learning that while probably in and out of the team in that position at least. Think it's an uphill struggle.
