I hear we are now linked to James Ward-Prowse, say it ain't so. Sure he is excellent at set pieces but when you consider his all round game I do not think he raises the ceiling of our midfield.

Also, as we are not in Europe, even if we sell Ndombele and Hojgjerg we are still left with

If we do need to bring in a new midfielder I would rather he be a game changer or a young buck with a high ceiling. Whenever I think of Ward-Prowse I think of set pieces and nothing else.

And I hear Southampton want around £40m. Why not just get the Tapsoba deal done with that cash?
