Investment question about oil

I am thinking of moving some money around this is always the time of year I think about it. Oil is doing badly at the moment but as I am prepared to tie away the money with the hope of it increasing over the next 5 years I do not consider it much of a risk.

My question is what would be the best way of investing money into oil. It is times like this I miss Leedspurs, he was good on the financial side of things.

Also to do with finance alarmed to see personal borrowing going back up to pre recession levels, it is like no one learned their lessons. But then government are pushing for people to spend more then they have, just like the last government did.

You know I actually got an unsolicited letter in December from Barclays asking me if I wanted to borrow £25,000. That sort of thing should be illegal, if I wanted to borrow money I would go find the best deal myself.

Regarding investment in oil, I would go for a solid company that pays out fair amounts in dividends. Oil stocks are very sensitive, and it's almost impossible to predict them both short and long term.
