Interim Manager Discussion

Would you have these as interim manager to finish the season?

  • John Heitinga

  • Current Coach (Lewis, Cochrane, Burnett, Carr)

  • Ryan Mason

  • Jurgen Klinsmann

  • Chris Hughton

  • Brendan Rodgers

  • Edin Trzic

  • Gareth Southgate

  • Former Manager Hoddle/Jol/Redknapp/Sherwood

  • Stick with Frank no matter what

They have a few days to get organised now. Id say Lange goes too but I suspect they won't want too much upheaval.

Don Fabio would have been good to have around....

Really good reasons not to have De Zerbi at the club. The guy is an unstable hot head. I feel like it would be an unmitigated disaster to hire him at any point.

I’d be alright with de Zerbi till the summer and then regroup and see where we are. Not sure De Zerbi would agree to that though?
Maybe just a 2 year contract so less expensive to get rid in the summer if we wanted
Feel the same about de Zerbi. Has experience at this level and seems all round a decent manager who could suit this squad quite well. But like you I'm guessing he'd want a permanent deal.

Most likely a more clear interim manager would be my guess. And probably Pochettino come the summer.

I would be beyond stunned if these owners appointed De Zerbi.

He plays good football, and there’s a lot to like. He’s also an absolute mentalist who will kick these owners up in the air if they don’t back him and give him what he wants.

It would feel like a company hiring its own rioters.

Let's have Glenn, Teddy AND Jürgen. A proper Cæsarian Triumvirate.

Who to be Cæsar, Pompey and Crassus, though??
(or if you're a frankophile, we'll call them LeBrun, Cambacérès and Bonaparte)

If anything, history shows that a proper dictator will rise from such triumvirates! :)

(By the power of Ghod, I will hammer history into the heads of the accidental reader of these threads!)
