Igor the Interim

Sad for Igor Tudor and condolences of course. But we have to be ruthless and he is going to get a payoff. There will be hundreds of staff getting laid off if Spurs go down. And I don't think its an exaggeration to acknowledge that there are some people who's mental health will be seriously impacted by a relegation.

It's a disaster for us, as much as it is a personal tragedy foe Tudor. The last thing we need now is a manager whose focus is not 100% on Tottenham Hotspur, whether it’s Igor Tudor or someone else.

A brick situation just got bricker.
With the bad luck we have every week, I’d be seriously concerned for Redknapp health if he takes over… we seem to be jinxed

The club (or at least the PR department) are probably relieved as it's not really considered cool to vent at someone who's been recently bereaved. And it's another reason to feel hard done by instead of accepting where we're at.

That said, it's obviously sad news for Tudor and his family. Maybe it could save him from being the guy who takes us down.

If they actually appoint a man named Adolf Hutter to manage a team with a sizeable Jewish support then it will surely then be revealed that this entire season has been one of those pranks Ant and Dec organise on their Saturday night programme.

Was just thinking how nuts that it. Nobody I know has names their kid Usaama since 2001. You just don't for the kids sake.

I was watching a programme with my daughter the other day where kids from a certain area who find it difficult to connect and make friends, meet up for play dates. They were 10 year olds(?).
One girl was called Isis.
I used to work for ISS
My son at 6 used to tell people daddy is travelling because he is part of ISS…
Parents evening was an experience at first … no we do cleaning and food, not terrorism and killing people

I wonder if the death of his father will actually give Tudor the determination and even more resolve to try and keep us up? He appears to be a decent and honourable guy, and I could see a scenario where he feels that given this is a 7 game job now, he would not want to leave before giving it his absolute hardest shot.

I have to say, he does learn from his mistakes, whether in formation or decisions, and if we take the calibre of performances over the last few games (yes, even the disastrous ones), generally we are looking better (not difficult I concede). With a few others due back in the break, and the players seemingly absolutely not downing tools in protest of him, I have to seriously wonder what change could be any better unless the club are hiring a long-term manager.

Let me say this; if they were to hire De Zerbi, with the option of a release in his contract should he go down, then I'd be fudgeking livid. Besides the fact I think the guy's a total w anker...

The problem is we no longer have the time to absorb the mistakes/learning.

We need someone that is:

-tactically adept
-picks the best possible team from outset (right formation, players in right positions, play on front foot)
-capable if in game changes that have a positive impact

Unfortunately we are now in a position where we need all three of those things immediately.

...agreed and I just don't think it exists.

I think these three weeks are a vital reset. So help me I think we'll win at Sunderland!

Got a mate whose name was Jihad from birth. Hardcore Spurs fan. Changed it to Jamal in his 20s as he couldn't get a job
