Igor the Interim

So then why don't we just forfeit every game?

We try the pragmatic crap, that doesn't work, but let's not try being more balanced? Literally makes no sense.

Our attack is way better than our defence
Our attack is crap so I dunno about that. Ok our defense is crap as well but I honestly think the attack is worse. We have no quality there at all.

The "Scott Parker 360 turn" refers to
a signature piece of skill often performed by the former England and Tottenham midfielder during his playing days, where he would spin 360 degrees on the ball to beat opponents or retain possession. This graceful move, often described as a trademark turn, became synonymous with his technical composure in midfield.

  • Signature Move: The turn is remembered as a piece of "art" from his time at Tottenham Hotspur, where he would often make a full 360-degree rotation under pressure.
  • Player Style: Known for his tenacity, Parker combined this defensive work rate with an ability to turn opponents, notably remembered at West Ham and Tottenham.
  • Legacy: The turn is frequently cited by fans as a key highlight of his stylish midfield play, often characterized by maintaining possession in tight spaces.
That is a very generous write up

Our attack, midfield and defense are all woeful. The team that got relegated in 77 would wipe the floor with this lot. This team as it is would be mid table in the Championship.

Hope so. I only started worrying about Forest after they sacked him.
They beat us 3-0 at the City Ground beat liverpool too and drew with Arsenal. His record was 10 wins and 9 losses over 25 games according to AI. Read on the BBC that just on his own results he would have them 12th. So, I don’t think he is a good long term option but he knows how to organise a team in the short term and has been there before. I think we could do a lot worse.

Thing is, he would only take the job IMO if he was given a two-three year deal. I doubt he's interested in keeping us up for Poch to step in (or someone else) and I wouldn't blame him...

I can’t see us getting rid of him just after his father has died.

“…and, in such difficult circumstances for Igor, it has been decided that his contract will be terminated by mutual consent. We thank Igor for his work and wish him and his wider family well.”
