Grinds my gears!

I knew I'd probably get slated for it, but was just asking if anyone else felt the same.
I know I shouldn't go on a football forum if I don't want to find out scores, was just hoping they could be kept to the dedicated thread. Oh well

Things pop up everywhere in this madhouse..

You can argue that posting Spurs bits in the OMT can be annoying as some people's streams are slower than others. It's gonna happen, you cannot control it.

When I'm at home watching on a stream I have Sky on in the background, but on a 30-60sec delay, just in case my stream buffers and falls behind.
Forgot to pause for the second half, and heard Phil Thompson scream goal a few seconds before Sandro hit the ball on my laptop, bizarre knowing we were going to score right then

If I don't want to know results I tend not to go on football forums.

Clever..what I don't get is some posters passing comment on other games while supposedly watching a Spurs game. Especially if watching on a dodgy stream. I only post in OMTs if there is an injury or after a goal while I watch a game. Baffles me how someone can say Arsenal are playing crap while supposedly watching the Spurs' game.

I avoid the forums but it's worse when the commentator on football first mentions it! (Chelsea result in Spurs game).

Not that I didn't chuckle mind..

To be fair to the OP, under the "special" way this site works... discussing other matches in a thread clearly called "OMT - Spurs v Fulham" is against the rules and should incur a life time ban.

Because discussing teams around us and there scores is relevant. If people do not want to see results of other teams then they need to not log into a football site.

Agree 100%. Like in yesterdays game, Arse, WBA, & Everton were playing at the same time as us. Their results were very important. We could go fourth, or seventh.
As it turned out all the results went our way. I, for one would like to know the progress of those games in our OMT in real time.

Why the fudge didnt I think of that?

The first goal - fudging thompson shouted out goal - I knew it was us as we had the ball near their end and I was in a five second delay. Then again you are told on here when we score and that generally is before it happens on my rivers.

If you watch on your boat using a laptop and you have sky on in the background.

Pretty easy really.
