Just chucked down loads of grass seed on the lawn as not sure if it will fully recover after two months of nothing but sun. April and August are the favoured times for doing this.
Fortunately we never had a hosepipe ban here.
Managed to keep all the plants in pots going but the fruit trees have been a bust - three pears and about half a dozen apples.

I have a little 'volunteer' tomato plant spring up in the garden... probably back in July(?)...let it do it's thing...now harvesting the vine tomatoes as and when
