I remember him being on his last legs/surviving a bad heart attack about 20 years ago, so he's done well to get this far.
Never saw him as a player, but he was a decent manager and we had some classic ties with his Wimbledon team

I remember definitely being on the bandwagon for making him our manager in 1998, instead of Graham. I think both would have done better out of that than what came to pass
