Fixture & Ticket News 26/27

The trouble is the club haven’t announced the ballot results yet so they can rightly say I haven’t been allocated a ticket and any travel booked is at my own risk. But I know I’ll definitely get a ticket so I’ve already booked my travel. Luckily for me, having never looked around Liverpool, I’d booked to go up Tuesday afternoon, have about of a wander around on Wednesday before the game and come back home on Thursday. So I can still make it work. But hundreds of fans won’t be able to do that.
It’s just a rubbish situation.

Booking.com, book the room for a number of nights that covers all eventualities, with free cancellation and pay when you go. When the tie date is confirmed, you can amend the booking to suit.

Yeah I spend a good few months of each year travelling abroad so hotel bookings are not the problem for me. I know how that works. it’s the train here that’s the issue. As I said I can make it work for me because I don’t have work commitments but there will be a lot of fans having already booked non-changeable/refundable tickets who are now out of pocket.
There was no caveat that the date of the fixture might be changed. It’s just a case of fans having to suck it up and take the hit. Which is out order imo.

Rant over. Admin fee to change my train booking but my hotel costs less for the new dates so the saving there covers the admin fee plus a bit left over. So all good in my case. Still will be a pain for others I'm sure.

If I drive up for Spurs v Villa, where is the best place to park?
Virtually all of Haringey is resident only parking and on matchdays the lower part of Edmonton is also covered by a CPZ so only real option is finding one of the private places to park near the stadium there are a few around probably start around £25 or more.

This club i fudging swear...

So, ST Holders can't buy additional tickets?

I've paid for a Junior Membership for my youngest, tried to buy a ticket, then he can sit with my eldest and i'll sit the row behind in the additional one i am buying, but it says he cannot buy his own ticket as he's underage.

So why the fudge have i bought a membership if he can never buy one? Insane.

Sounds like one that might be resolveable via a phone call to the TO? I can understand why the system won't allow it but you'd think a human could do it for you. You'd hope so anyway.

Actually what you might need to do is Ticket Share your seat withyour youngest, and then because you will no longer have a ticket of your own, you should be able to buy one. But I don't know if they restrict sharing to juniors below a certain age. Might be the same issue.

Call them
My mate who I have a ST with has the same issue and they move him and his son into new seats
They are very helpful on that front

after 30+mins of waiting i gave up. Don't have the ability to spend so long waiting for someone to answer. It's simple though, modern football doesn't care about real fans. Why sell to me when you can sell to a tourist who spends an extra £200 in the club shop...
