TF in the West Ham prematch conference thanked Paratici and Vinai for the quick signing of Gallagher. Makes me think that we will get a Paratici like for like replacement soon, not Rafi M who doesn't sound like a scout/recruitment type. Hopefuly we get someone who has global contacts for established players, beyond what Lange does.

What makes you think Ben Davies would be good at this role?
Think he's expressed an interest in moving in that direction before, could be wrong though. He comes across as intelligent and thoughtful, doesn't mean that he'd be good at that role but I'm sure there's something behind the scenes that he'd be suitable for and then work his way up.
Don't get the fast tracking Lloris or Vertonghen into roles though.
