We've won more than Arse though, in the last few...months.sound like we got used but that's what you get for not winning much
it will be interesting to see how arteta keeps his bench happy with the world cup coming up

Saka has got injured, Eze is better than Martinelli. They are in the Champions League and going for the league, there will be plenty of games for everyone.sound like we got used but that's what you get for not winning much

That's not how a footballers life works.Hardly, he led us up the garden path. If he was honest, he would've said thanks, but no thanks, I'm waiting for lego head.
its different - we are sorely lacking quality depth. even their 16 and 17 year old players look like a goal threat compared to our grey and bergvallSaka has got injured, Eze is better than Martinelli. It's funny how people on here acknowledge we need a stronger squad, but rivals sign quality players and then it's 'Yeah but where will they play them all'. In this day and age it's a squad game, and ours isn't strong enough to compete as we want it to yet....
Was thinking the same. They were interested, but walked away. Whether that was because of the injury to Havertz , or to get one over us, its not a ringing endorsement. That's not how a footballers life works.
Listen to any interviews, most footballers - they have to take the opportunities when they come along. He knew Arsenal were interested - he got the move he wanted. That phone call could have easily ended up in Arteta saying "no, we're going in a different direction", at which point he's sign for us.
Players have short careers and very small windows in which to change employer, as well as very little say in that move.
Arsenal are a fascinating party in this. They were clearly interested. But it took the player instigating the move to make it happen. Odd.
I wonder where they actually see him in their team.
