We need a new CF and I hope that talk about a few weeks ago about not wanting one this window proves to be nonsense.

As for Udogie, I would genuinely rather we sold him and kept Souza - the experience of Robertson with the talent of Souza sounds like a pretty good blend to me and Udogie just can't be relied upon to stay fit at all.....

I'd give Udogie this season, he is a top player when fit

We seem to be managing his minutes / time in pre season, hopefully get to the bottom of it and a fix to it.

If it's the same again, move him on to a less intense league

Solanke needs to go, he's injured and he's not very good, problem is, he's going to be impossible to shift because of what we want for him and the wages we've foolishly given him.

He was a top player for the first six months he was here, as many unknown quantities have been when first coming to the PL and then not sustained it.

Hes never reached those levels since, of course at least in part due to his injuries but that's something you have to factor in.

I don't think he will be sold this year and like you say will see how it goes this season - but I stand by my comment that if we had to sell one I'd sell him over Souza (or Spence but seems more likely it's a case he would want to leave) which there was previous speculation of....

To be fair the equivilent player. English, prime age coming of a 20+ goal season would cost the same if not more if we were to buy them this summer. Same as Richarlison.

He was fit and available for most of his 1st season with us (Ange's 2nd), 25 PL starts. He did get injured later in the season but he had quite a rub of being fit and available initially.

That's what happens when you pay top dollar for a single stellar season in a seasoned professional.... without taking into account previous performance
