But he was. You can argue “ifs” all you want but that doesn’t change the past.

We simply don’t know what the plan was after VV was hired, and whether that changed with regards to DL’s role once VV had had a chance to look around the place. All we do know is what actually happened and that is last summer Levy was still heavily involved whereas he isn’t this summer.

Hence we can’t truly judge the Lewis’s until they have had the chance to fully implement their plans unopposed.

We don't actually know that, all we know is he hadn't yet been removed from his position at the club.

I’d lay good money that Levy didn't voluntarily let them take away his responsibilities.

If that was the case he would’ve resigned instead of getting fired.
