It’s plausible that he would want to play for them. But I don’t see why they’d want him. He’d be a downgrade on their existing CB’s, and I don’t even rate Gabriel that highly.

They need a backup and if Romero is going cheap because we want rid and have already replaced him then it makes sense that they might chance their arm

Totally agree. That’s why I stay very level headed with transfer news, incoming or outgoing until it’s on the club website. I don’t get excited about potential signings until it’s a done deal. Especially given when we’ve had some high profile near misses. The same principle should be applied when it comes to our players going the other way. I guess with Romero has very little credit in the bank with some Spurs fans after his decision to depart for Argentina before the Everton game only to do a U-turn after the backlash.
 
I reckon he wants Barcelona or Atletico, and his agent is trying to cook up a bidding war by claiming scum are interested (which they probably are). Who knows if he’s willing to go there, we won’t sell to them anyway, so no point really working up any agitation. Last player that moved from us to them was 25 years ago, and it ain’t going to happen again any time soon, in my opinion.

I think the last one we willingly let go to them was Jennings? The other one we didn't exactly have a choice in.

I can see why Pogba was hyped, I always enjoyed watching him for France. That combo of brilliant long passing and great footwork meant he was always interesting to watch. I think that combo is pretty rare and exciting. His mentality let him down but he had lots of stunning moments. Liked the way he linked with Mbappe too.
 
on his day can be very good. Outside of suspensions and wreckless play, he's showed way too many careless moments where he's played a sloppy ball or gone to trap the ball and it's slipped past him. When he's on it he's a 9/10 but that's about 4 games in 10.
He's a slag.

Pogba always had that fire when he was trying to prove people wrong, when he moved back to United he seemed to lose something.

Bingo. And when you factor in on top of that he's missed 35/76 league games last two seasons, he is just not worth it in terms of wages or otherwise. No ill will, but genuinely not bothered he's going....

Ermm you do realise that he is the one CD that plays the riskiest balls in our tactics. Some will come off, some will not. Y'all making it sound like he is Fazio.
