I believe teams are definitely aware that we want to sell Romero. This is a huge flashing light that says low ball for other teams who may be pursuing Romero. It is obvious that Tottenham has revamped that backs and they have no place for Romero. I think Tottenham is somewhat in a rock and a hard place in their selling of him.

Exactly, we’ve basically advertised we’re distressed sellers with our transfer activity so far at CB. Anyone who is interested is going to play the game with us on Romero now. Romero continues to be linked with an exit from Tottenham following the signings of center backs Jan Paul van Hecke and Marcos Senesi this summer. The 28-year-old has also been linked with Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.

Given the amount of money involved, unless Inter sell Bastoni or another valuable player, it seems a loan with obligation is the best available option. Would allow us to collect the money in the 27/28 season to count against future PSR. Unless we can attract another suiter

An obligation is accrued income in the same way any sale is
Don’t forget for PSR or the new version you take sales income in the year or the agreed sale and this is in effect the same thing

Perhaps, but there were times where Romero (and VDV) dug their team out with key goals and assists. They definitely had some key attacking moments and helped us get some points we wouldn't have got.

It's a shame really we never really got to see Romero in a great Spurs side where he could really focus in on his own centre half role. For me, he was always having to be relied too much as a creative influence.
