He played 18 in the league last season, so half. I don't know that we can draw much in terms of his disciplinary record with only half the games played. He wasn't feeling the weekly pressure, he wasn't the guy who had to get the troops moving etc.

He was let down by the coaching staff this season. He is a talent who needs wrangling. We miss him.

I'm a man for personal responsibility TBH, so despite whatever the coaching circumstances you still need to maintain your personal discipline.

Btw I didn't think the sending off against Manchester United was fair.

I know you did not mean it, but there is an implication there I do not care for at all.
So am I.
At 59 years old and with a 33 year old son and 20 year old daughter, personal responsibility is both exercised and taught.
That does not mean that idiots around young people should not do their jobs better with regards to helping them manifest the best of their talents.

People made their minds up about Romero, so now he has to play a different game and to a ridiculous standard when measured against the league.
Half our supporters convinced themselves 'he deserved it' for his 'previous' and honestly, I am tired of the eye test failing so many people (in my opinion of course)...

BTW, for those who think we're fine without him, I present today...

Romero has never tasted victory against ASSnal, although he’s been either injured of suspended for 30% of NLDs since joining Spurs and our only victory over the Woolwich Wanderers in that time was with a back 3 of Dier, Davies and Sanchez!!!

Whilst that red card against ManUre was harsh (although now we’re a relegation threatened club I suppose we have to get used to officials treating us with disdain) I do wish that Romero had bottled up his hatred of Brazilians and unleashed it upon Gabriel instead of Casemiro.

He's not prime Messi, he's not on his own good enough to make a badly performing team good.

But it's also very much clear in a game like yesterday how much we miss him when he's not there.
